Account Limits Parents may specify which foods students may or may not have. An account limit form is available online or by contacting your school cafeteria manager. Prepayment Prepay student meals online by accessing the CISD portal system or go directly to http://mynutrikids.com. View more information here! Child Nutrition Check Acceptance Policy In the unlikely event your check is returned unpaid by your bank, we will redeposit your check electronically. We use Checksmart as our collection agency. The use of a check for payment into a student lunch account is your acknowledgement and acceptance of this policy and its terms. For more information concerning Checksmart, contact 1-888-851-6634. Nutritional Analysis The nutritional requirements of our meals are regulated by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) and the Texas Department of Agriculture (TDA). We plan our menus to meet the nutritional requirements for the ages of the students at each school. Kids that eat nutritious meals not only perform better in school, but in all aspects of their lives. We analyze our meals for their nutritional value and these analyses are available at your request. Ala Carte Programs All schools offer some items for sale in addition to the regular meal programs. Second helpings of entre items and desserts, including ice cream, are sold in the elementary schools. Ala carte items are priced individually. Please make sure that your student knows what ala carte items they are permitted to buy and how often they can purchase them. If you do not want your child to purchase ala carte items, purchase breakfast, or make charges, you must notify your child's cafeteria manager and an alert can be posted in the computer.
