    Announcements

    • Important Parent/Student Reminders:

      Please have your student bring lunch, lunch money or ensure that lunch accounts have funds. This year we are restricting deliveries to our Horseshoe Reception Desk and no longer accept lunch deliveries, band instruments, cash or technology items.

       

      Please remember to have your student charge their iPad each day and bring it to school with them each day. If your student has not protected their device with an iPad case, we highly encourage you to do so (as stated in the CHS iPad User Handbook). This step will help maintain the device in proper working order, while minimizing the opportunities of damages and repair fees.

       

      Attendance Reminders:

      Planned  Appointment-

      • Send a note with your child in the morning that states name, grade, student ID, reason for leaving and time they need to leave the building,
      • Your child will then go to their assistant principal office, retrieve a gold pass to leave the building at the designated time on the note,
      • Your child will then sign themselves out at the appropriate time in their AP office,
      • They will meet you at the Main Entrance outside by the flag poles,
      • And if returning to school that day, they will sign themselves back in at the assistant principal office and present the documentation necessary to confirm the appointment for an excused absence.  They may bring the documentation the next day if they are not returning within the same day.

       

      Unplanned Appointment-

      The Parent/Guardian/Emergency Contact must come in the building with your State issued ID and report to the reception desk(horseshoe) to sign your child out.  Please note that this process could take up to 20 minutes as it just depends on the events taking place in the building when you come in to sign them out.  Please do not park in the fire lane and leave your car unattended as this could have a negative result.

      We work as quickly as possible for you to retrieve your student.

    Request for Change of Information

    At the beginning of the year, we asked for parents to submit information in the Online Registration process (Infosnap). That was a one-time only submission process. Unfortunately, that was also a one-time only opportunity to change information. We realize that information does change throughout the year. So if you need something to be changed (added/deleted), here are the procedures. 
    If you need to request changes to information of your student, please follow the steps below:
     
    Include the Following Information:
    • Full Name of Student: Last, First
    • Student ID: 5 Digit number
    • Reason for Request: (examples)
      • Student Information
      • Student’s Contact Information
      • Student’s Medical Condition
      • Other (iPad, E-Communication, Disclosure, Honor Roll Lunch)
    The change will be made within 24 hours but it may not be reflective in the Home Access Center (if applicable) for 48 hours. Click here for additional instructions.

    New Student

    2016-17 New Student Enrollment Information

    Please click the link below (New Student Enrollment) to get all the pertinent information required to get your child or children enrolled.  

    New student enrollment for the 2016-17 school year will begin in AUGUST

    Email is the most efficient way to schedule appointments. Coppell High School has online enrollment. You will need a password to enroll your student online. Prior to scheduling your appointment, please refer to the New Student Enrollment PDF for required information. Email the appropriate Registrar the answers to the 16 Questions on the New Student Enrollment document. Once you provide this information, a password, instructions and an appointment time will be emailed to you.

      Juniors and Seniors!  If you have not ordered your class ring, it is not too late!  Jostens will be returning to Coppell High School to take ring orders in the main hallway outside of the cafeteria on October 17 from 11:00 to 1:00 and October 18 from 11:00 to 6:00.  Have fun and save time by designing online at www.jostens.com and bring a copy of your order with you along with the $50.00 deposit.

       

      GRADUATION

      As your official supplier of caps, gowns and other graduation products, Jostens will be coming to Coppell High School to take orders in the main hallway outside of the cafeteria on October 17 from 11:00 to 1:00 and October 18 from 11:00 to 6:00.  Packets were distributed October 4 and extra packets are available in the student services office.  Don’t forget your $80 deposit.

    Campus/District Tours

    CISD360 TOUR

    Coppell ISD will host a 2 day tour in January 2017. The tour will include a chance to visit campuses and attend workshops delivered by our staff. If you are interested in attending the 2 day tour please visit http://www.coppellisd.com/CISD360

    Prospective New Student Tour

    Individual(s) interested in seeing the CHS campus must schedule a tour with De Ann Sills (contact info below). We will try to arrange the tour when it is convenient for the participating individual(s).  We will conduct the tour on almost any school day unless we are testing.
    *Note: You MUST reside in the CISD boundaries in order to attend a Coppell school.
