Class Assignment Procedures:
·Please note that you will not receive your child’s teacher assignment on the 14th. We will be using the information gathered on the 14th:

o to contact and place students that are currently on a waiting list for a specific grade.
·It is important that you provide us with the requested information so that we can appropriately plan for our classes. Thank you in advance for your assistance with this.
·You will receive your class assignment via a welcome email from your child’s teacher. The email will be sent out on Thursday, August 21st no later than 12pm.
·Please plan to join us from 6pm-7pm on Thursday, August 21st for Meet the Teacher where your family will get the opportunity to meet your teacher, meet your classmates, and see your classroom.
·We also hope that you are able to attend our PTO sponsored Family Picnic that will take place during and after our Meet the Teacher event. The picnic is a great way to catch up with old friends and to visit with new ones.
I am looking forward to seeing all of our Longhorns and to the kickoff of our “Positively Awesome” year.
