chris nester Welcome to Wilson Elementary where Rangers Lead The Way!

I am honored to be the Principal at Wilson Elementary and am anxious to serve each family to my utmost ability. It is an exciting time to be a part of Wilson. Each and every staff member has embraced the responsibility and truly has the passion to meet the needs of your children.

At Wilson we have great expectations for ourselves as educators and for all of our learners as well. Every encounter that I have with community members as well as our staff members reassures me that not only Coppell ISD, but that Wilson Elementary, is the place to be!

Coppell ISD believes in academic excellence for all learners. It is our responsibility to educate each learner regardless of their needs and interests, to give each learner the necessary tools to survive in the real world, and to provide opportunities for all learners to excel and stretch their learning.

Research has shown us that one of the most important factors in the success of a child's education is a strong connection between home and school. We highly encourage you to talk to your children about their experiences at school, to read with them every night, and to join us in the building as often as you can, working together to inspire our learners to be leaders in an exciting, ever changing future.

I am so very proud to be a part of this excellent team at Wilson and leading our learners into the next frontier where Rangers lead the way!

Dual Language Immersion Campus

The dual language program (two-way language immersion) is designed to teach children a second language in a natural way through subject content instruction and everyday classroom conversation.
El programa dual de lenguaje (inmersión de dos idiomas -dos-vias) está diseñado para enseñar a los niños(as) un segundo idioma de una manera natural por medio de la instrucción académica y las conversaciones diarias del aula de clases.
