Coppell Middle School East Teacher of the Year Shelby Thompson is one of three teachers recognized as amazing educators in the National “Teach the Love Contest.”
These include meeting dates and application timelines for our choice elementary schools and high school, enrollment dates for Pre-kindergarten and Kindergarten students, transfer application windows and the Open Enrollment timeline.
Valley Ranch is a wonderful school, filled with many opportunities and learning experiences. As a Leader in Me school, the staff at Valley Ranch believes in engaging students in authentic leadership opportunities and relevantleadership experiences. This is done by teaching through the lens of the 7 Habits which includes the following:
*Be Proactive
*Begin with the End in Mind
*First Things First
*Think Win -Win
*Seek First to Understand
*Synergize
*Sharpen the Saw
By using these habits daily, VRE learners gain lifelong habits. Finding your voice is the last habit that is practiced throughout VRE through student led leadership roles. Student engagement is seen throughout the school. as learners passionately lead in various areas. We are very proud of our leaders at Valley Ranch where we empower learners with leadership and life skills. We are also the Home of the Stars, and we enjoy watching our students shine!
