Coppell ISD is celebrating Martin Luther King, Jr., Day, which is Monday, Jan. 18. This is a day in which the district honors the civil rights leader and nonviolent activist.
The 2020 Coppell High School Varsity Marching Band earned an eighth-place finish in the UIL 6A State Marching Band Contest. The event was held in December at the Alamodome in San Antonio.
The 2019-2020 student staff of the CHS student television station KCBY received nine Lone Star Student Production Emmy awards in December in multiple categories.
Cottonwood Creek Librarian Cynthia Alaniz recently was announced as a finalist for election to the American Library Association's Association’s Sibert Committee.
