W.W. Pinkerton Elementary is Coppell ISD's first choice elementary school. All elementary students across the Coppell Independent School District are welcome to apply to attend this school of inquiry-based learning.
Pinkerton families that are zoned for Pinkerton for the 2019-20 school year do NOT need to apply to Pinkerton. Application Process
- A parent/guardian must attend one of the two parent information sessions:
- Wednesday, March 6 @ 6:30 p.m.
- Tuesday, March 19 @ 6:30 p.m.
- Applications wil be accepted beginning March 6 and must be returned no later than Friday, March 29 at 4:00 p.m. to Pinkerton Elementary front office.
- A lottery process (utilizing an electronic lottery software program) will take place on Friday, April 5 at the Vonita White Administration Building.
- After the lottery process, commitment letters will be emailed home to families selected in the lottery. Parents/guardians must sign the commitment letter and return to Pinkerton Elementary front office no later than Friday, April 12, 2019 at 4:00 p.m.
*Those not selected in the lottery will remain on a waiting list through the summer.
