Welcome to my website! It's a pleasure to be working in such an outstanding school district and with such phenomenal kids and staff here at Coppell Middle School West!
I am originally from Oklahoma, but then moved to the DFW Metroxplex as a kid. I graduated from the University of North Texas. Go Mean Green! I began my teaching and coaching career at Lamar Middle School in Irving, TX and transferred to Nimitz High School the following year where I met my wife. I spent the next 10 years teaching World History, World Geography, and Economics, as well as coaching baseball and basketball. Since my family resided within the Coppell Independent School District and has attended Coppell ISD schools since 2001, I then made my way to Coppell Middle School West in 2008. This has been home ever since.
It's a great campus with lots of friendly people, and I enjoy not only being an active member of the community, but working with the kids, parents, and staff of this Coppell ISD community, as well. I have coached multiple sports professionally for the last 23 years within the Texas public education system. Currently, I coach tennis. The gain is two-fold. This gives me an opportunity to coach a sport I have always had much interest in, and it gives me more time at home.
P.S. There's something particularly important you should know about me, as it is common knowledge and my students already know this about me too. I'm a HUGE Dallas Mavericks and Oklahoma Sooners fan.
