My life in a nutshell! I grew up in Amarillo, TX and went to Lubbock Christian University where I received a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies in Early Childhood. I always knew I wanted to be an educator and am so grateful for the excellent education I received at LCU. Go Chaps!
This will be my eleventh year as a 3rd grade designer, and my seventh year at Lee. I spent four years in Dumas ISD teaching 3rd grade math and science, so I am pleased as punch to have added literacy and social studies to my day! I am also incredibly honored and excited to be on such a unique and innovative campus. It is truly a privilege to lead and learn from your child. This year will hold a great deal of excitement and growth for both designer and learner. Thank you for allowing me to take part in your child's life. I can't wait to build lasting relationships with each and every learner and I can't wait to see what this year brings!
My time spent away from Lee usually consists of spoiling my niece and nephew, and spending as much time with family and friends as possible. I also love movies, music, reading, the Chicago Cubs, and cheering loudly for the Aggies in college football! Whoop!
