Texas Library Association Recommended Reading Lists

	Texas Bluebonnet Award Master List is based on a program that encourages reading for pleasure, aimed at students in grades 3-6. Each year, 20 books are chosen by the TBA selection committee. Complete your Bluebonnet reading log here!
	Texas 2x2 Reading List is comprised of books for age 2 to Grade 2.

American Library Association, Association of Library Service to Children, Awards

	American Library Association Notable Children's Books is a list of the best in children's books.
	Theodor Seuss Geisel Award is awarded annually to the author(s) and illustrator(s) of the most distinguished American book for beginning readers published in English in the United States during the preceding year.
	Randolph Caldecott Award is awarded to the artist of the most distinguished American picture book for children.
	The John Newbery Award is awarded annually to the author of the most distinguished contribution to American literature for children.
