My Name is Mariah Wallace and I am so excited to begin another year at Canyon Ranch Elementary in second grade Purple House! I graduated in December of 2016 from the University of North Texas with a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies. Since then, life has been filled with new experiences and adventures.

Teaching has been my passion since I was young, so being an educator is a dream come true! I believe in daily creating and strengthening relationships with learners that will encourage them to succeed emotionally, intellectually, and developmentally. 

Whenever I'm not teaching, I can be found hanging out with my family and friends, playing sports, watching Netflix, or crafting new artwork! During the summer, I usually spend time traveling to new places. I have a huge appreciation for diversity and love learning about all cultures!

I know this year may look different, but I promise we will still make amazing memories and do LOTS of learning together. I am here if you ever need me!
