Spanish Honors Society

  • The Spanish National Honor Society (Sociedad Honoraria Hispánica) is an academic honor society that focuses on student excellence in the Spanish and Portuguese languages and promotes interest in Hispanic and Portuguese studies.  It was established in 1953 in the United States and is sponsored by the American Association of Teachers of Spanish and Portuguese.  There are currently over 1,700 national and international chapters.
