CHS9 student Hashini Raja and Special Education Teacher Chaz Bowen were named Coppell Chamber's Student and Teacher of the Month.
Ten high school education and training students recently participated in the Texas Association of Future Educators Area competition and qualified for state.
For all absences
Absence notes should be turned into the office within 3 days of the student returning to campus from being absent.
Notes must include the following:
- current date
- student’s first and last name
- student’s ID number
- date(s) of absence
- reason for absence
- parent/guardian signature
*Notes from a medical professional are accepted in lieu of a parent note.
**An additional parent note will be required for any days not specifically covered by the medical note.
***Absences of 5 or more consecutive school days because of illness require a note from a medical professional.
Please be aware that phone calls are not accepted as documentation for absences. Parents are welcome to give a courtesy call to the attendance clerk to report an absence, but a note will be required upon the student’s return to school. Emails are accepted in certain circumstances, however, please do not email photos of notes, including doctor’s notes. Please send the original to school with your child to turn into the office.
