Elementary Summer School Frequently Asked Questions
My family is going on vacation during the scheduled Summer School dates. May my child still attend Summer School?
Summer School cannot provide the needed intervention for your child if s/he is not present at school. Therefore, students must be in attendance and on time every day of Summer School unless they are sick. Students with a temperature of 100.1 degrees F or greater should stay home until fever-free for 24 hours without the aid of medication (e.g. Tylenol, ibuprofen). If vomiting or diarrhea is frequent or accompanied with fever, your child should stay home and return to school only after being symptom-free for 24 hours.
