    • Welcome to Denton Creek Elementary, home of the Trailblazers!

We are excited to have all of our Trailblazers back in the building for another amazing year of learning at DCE!

Our theme this year is Growing Hearts and Minds. You will notice as you walk the campus, an unwavering commitment by all staff to ensuring your child is making progress in both their academic and social emotional goals. To ensure the academic and social emotional growth and success for all learners, educators and staff work in Professional Learning Communities with a shared mission and vision focused on high levels of learning and success for all. At DCE, we believe all means all!

DCE truly believes “it takes a village” and our strong partnerships with our DCE Families, PTO, and business partners works to bring meaningful contributions to the collective mission for all learners! There are many opportunities to partner with us! Please let me know if you are interested and I will connect you with the perfect fit for your time and talents!

There are many ways to stay up to date with campus news!

DCE Dispatch: A monthly campus newsletter highlighting campus celebrations, upcoming events, and campus news. This will arrive via email from Parent Square and can always be found on the DCE web page under Campus News.

PTO Newsletter: A weekly PTO newsletter providing information on volunteer opportunities, spirit wear, celebrations, and more! This will also arrive via email and can be found on the DCE web page under Campus News.

Grade Level Newsletter: A weekly educator newsletter from your child’s teacher detailing curriculum, classroom news, ways to volunteer, celebrations, and more! Also delivered via email and can be found on your teacher’s webpage.

DCE Home Webpage: Up to date calendar events, information about the campus, quick access to emails and resources for parents and students!

Twitter: Follow us on Twitter for daily insights of what’s happening around the school! A fun way to get an inside look each day! @DCEtrailblazers

As we work together to Grow Hearts and Minds this year, the DCE guiding purpose is always at the core of our daily actions and decisions:

Denton Creek cultivates authentic relationships, values deep learning and individual contributions, and inspires learners to explore their passions and strengths to positively impact our world.
