Greetings from the clinic!  This is my twelfth year at Town Center and I love being the school nurse!  One of my goals as the school nurse is to be the best health advocate for your student that I can be.  Throughout the year this has many implications.  I conduct state mandated vision and hearing testing for grades K, 1st, 3rd and 5th.  I conduct state mandated scoliosis screening for 5th grade.  I also conduct Acanthosis Nigricans screening for 1st, 3rd and 5th grade.  I keep current immunization records for each student.  I schedule special health programs for the different grade levels throughout the year.  Daily in the clinic I provide care for the students of Town Center when they are hurt or sick.
My desire is to work closely with the students and parents of Town Center to provide a healthy and safe environment for learning.  Please review the School Health Policy to help you determine when your student needs to stay home.
The students at Town Center have varied health issues that can impact their school performance and attendance throughout the year.  I have placed several topics on this page that I hope will be helpful and informative for you and your student.
