- Coppell Independent School District
- Overview
-
The Coppell Independent School District Fine Arts Department seeks to provide equally exceptional educational opportunities across all Fine Arts disciplines. Through the use of intentional communication, focused coordination, and collaboration, we set the standard for student engagement and social-emotional learning throughout our schools and community.
We aim to know each student "by name and need". The Fine Arts curriculum is rooted in rigor, relevance, and relationships.
-
The Fine Arts Teachers of Coppell ISD are servant leaders. We recognize that servant leadership involves connection within six distinct frameworks: accountability, approach, character, dedication, integrity, and professionalism. We choose an approach rooted in professionalism and dedicated to a focus on character and integrity, embracing the idea that we are accountable to one other, our students, our campus, and our community.

Elementary Art (K-5)
Coppell ISD Elementary Specialists create an environment which empowers learners through self-discovery and creativity. Art education enables learners to develop lifelong abilities to formulate questions and answers through observations and interpretations of diverse cultures; solve problems and think critically; and attain academic knowledge necessary to develop art for personal and professional interests. Our students observe, analyze, interpret, and judge the aesthetic qualities in today’s diverse world and incorporate critical connections with all disciplines.
Our goals include developing global, self-aware, life-long learners who are curious problem solvers, creative and critical thinkers, connected communicators, and culturally aware global citizens.
