Mrs. LaSalle

Welcome to Austin!

I am extremely excited to be teaching here at Austin with our amazing administrators, staff and wonderful families!  I am one of the Special Education Interventionists and feel Blessed to be able to teach Resource ( K-5 ), In Class Support in the classrooms of K-3, and Co-teach with given opportunities.

This is my 36th year teaching the special needs population and truly feel there could not be a better place to accomplish my passion of unlocking the uniqueness of each and every learner to reach their potential.  It is a joy of never ending when you are part of the process that leads our special learners to that moment when they make a connection that they are part of leading.  I believe that each and every learner (disabled or non-disabled) carries incredible gifts and strengths that can be opened and shared with their community.

I’m a Hoosier by heart (grew up in Indiana), and graduated from Ball State University with a certification in Special Education EC-12 and General Education K-5, along with an ESL certification. My first teaching job took me to the great state of TX in Pasadena for 3 years.  Family brought me to Florida where I spent 15 years teaching the PPCD population.  The love of my life, Fred, brought me to Coppell where we have raised two great kids, Sarah and Joe.  Sarah is a Senior at CHS and Joe a Sophomore. I have been a fan of CISD for a long time!  I love spending time with family and friends, traveling, biking, reading and anything on or in the water.

My conference time is 11:00-11:50 Monday – Friday
