Mrs. Howard is beginning her second year as an Assistant Principal at Richard J. Lee Elementary.    She continues to split her time as an Assistant Principal between Richard J. Lee Elementary and Valley Ranch Elementary, in Coppell ISD.  Before joining Lee Elementary, Mrs. Howard was a Digital Learning Coach in Coppell ISD for two years. As a classroom educator for five years, Mrs. Howard taught 4th grade, Head Start/Pre-K, and At-Risk reading and math for 3rd-5th grade.  

Mrs. Howard obtained her Master's degree from Lamar University in Educational Administration in 2014.  She did her undergraduate work at the University of North Texas earning a Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources and Organizational Behavior.  She then went on to work in the corporate setting in recruitment and training and development for eight years before starting a family.

Mrs. Howard and her husband, Josh, both work in education and have one son.  Mrs. Howard enjoys spending time with her family, traveling and reading a good book.
