Welcome to Social Studies!  My name is John Smetzer and I am excited to work with the West family teaching 8th grade U.S. History.  My background includes significant time in the corporate community and I look forward to helping students develop their skills as they navigate the twenty-first century and consider the global connections of tomorrow.
