Mrs. Roach grew up in Mesquite, TX and attended UNT. She has been an educator for 16 years in Richardson, Plano, and now in Coppell. She has taught 2nd and 4th grade, and was a Title I intervention specialist at the elementary level. She was a Reading Specialist, ESL facilitator, and Instructional Coach at the middle school level. She completed her masters degree in 2016 and is loving her first year as Denton Creek's Assistant Principal. In her free time she loves to travel with her husband and 2 kids Riley (10) and Isabelle (8) (some favorites so far are Spain, Germany, Japan, Hawaii, and Italy). Mrs. Roach also loves running and has completed 45 half marathons and 1 full marathon in the past 7 years. She loves learning and growing, getting to know & supporting students and teachers, and reasearching and writing about educational topics to share with others.
