Camp Invention

Dates: June 11-15Time: 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Location: Pinkerton ElementaryWho: learners entering 1st - 6th grades in 2018-19
Camp Description: Camp Invention is a nonprofit program of the National Inventors Hall of Fame. This year, campers will bring their “smart” home to life with smart furniture and eco-smart energy, design a robotic dog and diagnose puppy problems, explore sensors by designing tracks for an Optibot, a robot that senses dark and light surfaces, and build Cake Catapults! Local educators lead the week of fun, hands-on, STEM activities that allow children to think big, explore their curiosity, and never give up.Note: No early drop off, or after camp care available; campers bring sanck, water bottle, and bagged lunch everyday; no food drop off, or microwave availableClick here for registration and more information.
