Mrs. Haley Arroyo (she/her)

Haley Arroyo is joining the NTH@C Science Department this year as a Chemistry Facilitator. She attended the University of Texas at Dallas where she completed her B.S. in Chemistry with a STEM teaching certificate through the UTeach Dallas program. Mrs. Arroyo began her student-centered teaching career in Richardson ISD at the Berkner HS STEM Academy where she spent her first 6 years of teaching. While working, she simultaneously completed two Master's degrees after being inspired by a free astronomy graduate class. Now in her 7th year of teaching, Mrs. Arroyo is excited to join the New Tech family, engage with our fantastic learners, and share in the love for chemistry! She enjoys playing video games, finding the next great camping spot, parenting her 7 pets, becoming the greatest Pokemon trainer of all time, knitting for charity, playing the cello, and learning how to get better at golf.
