The purpose of National Junior Honor Society is to create enthusiasm for scholarship, stimulate a desire to render service, promote leadership, develop character, and encourage citizenship in the students of secondary schools.
CMSN's chapter of NJHS conducts several service projects for charity throughout the school year. Students are also responsible for at least 30 hours of service outside of the events sponsored by the Society.
Members participate in personally meaningful service projects throughout the year.
Meetings are held once a month. Members should check Schoology for the dates and times of the meetings and announcements of due dates and service projects.
