Special Education and 504 Records Request
The process for requesting any records from Special Education or 504 is the following:
Email Sandra Sigler, Records Clerk email@example.com with the following information:
- Name of student or student ID
- Copy of government issued ID (If the student is 18+, the student must provide either school ID or government issued ID)
- Specify which records are being requested
If the student is a graduate or 18, they must make the request from his/her personal email.
Destructions of Special Education and 504 Records
Special Education and 504 records from the 2017-2018 (for those students who have graduated, moved or are no longer eligible for special education or 504 services at CISD) will be destroyed in accordance with state law, unless a parent/guardian notifies the school district (214-496-6955) by June 30, 2023 to retain them.
