Ms. Yazbeck

Multisensory Language Instruction (MLI Department)
Dyslexia Specialist

The class I teach is called MLI--Multisensory Language Instruction. This is Coppell ISD's dyslexia intervention program. The service is available to all three grade levels on campus.

My tutoring time is any day after school, but by appointment only.

Learners need to read every day.  Similar to anything we do in life, we have to practice in order to improve.  No one hops on a bike and rides it very far the first time they try.  We have to practice playing sports and playing musical instruments in order to become strong and proficient, and reading is very much the same way.  We learn to read and write by reading and writing! Choose reading materials that are meaningful by selecting a subject that is interesting to the reader!

All  MLI learners have been set up with the new Learning Ally Link.  They are allowed to load their own books to this audiobook app, and using TextView, can read the highlighted text as they are listening to it.
