Music provides an aesthetic element important in the education of a child. I am so pleased to be a part of your child's musical development! My name is David Barnette. This is my 20th year of teaching music. I was born in Orange, Texas and I have a Bachelor of Music degree from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas but I am still learning more about music each day with my students!
Our music classes provide the children with an opportunity to sing, move, listen, and perform. Creative expression is emphasized in order to promote aural perception, self awareness, and self esteem. Music is one of the best life-long activities!
