• Dual Language Immersion Program

The Dual Language Immersion Program combines dominant English speaking and dominant Spanish speaking students in one classroom. Two teachers instruct the core curriculum in each language, promoting bilingual, bi-literate, and bicultural students.

Interested parents of incoming kindergarteners can attend an information meeting about the Dual Language Immersion program. The meeting will be offered on January 19th and a repeat meeting on January 25th. Both will be held at 6:30 p.m. in the Vonita White Administration Building (200 S. Denton Tap Rd., Coppell). These meetings are for parents of dominant English speaking students and will cover basic information and benefits of the program, as well as how to apply.

To participate in the Dual Language Program, students must meet all CISD enrollment requirements.
