• Baylor Legend Leads Girls B'Ball

    Nicole Collins graduated from Baylor University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forensic Science. She will be joining Coppell High School as the new girl's Head Basketball Coach and Biology teacher. Nicole was a stellar basketball player and as a three time team captain she was selected to be a member of the Big XII Conference All-Star team. She finished her career ranked in the Top 5 in school history in assists and in the Top 10 in steals. In 2010, she was honored as a Baylor Women's Basketball Legend.

    Nicole's coaching experience includes a 4A State Championship at Dunbar High School and a 5A State Semifinalist title at Cedar Hill High School. She will also continue her work as a teacher and coach, leaving her mark in both athletics and academics. As a teacher, Nicole says she “lights up” when she hears a student say, “I got it!”
