• Leanne Dorhout Named CMS North Principal

    Leanne Dorhout
    Leanne Dorhout has been selected as the new principal for Coppell Middle School North. She came to Coppell ISD in 2009 as the Associate Principal at Coppell High School. Ms. Dorhout holds a B.A. degree in Secondary Education and English from Central College in Pella, Iowa where she graduated in 2000 and a Master's Degree in Educational Administration and Principal Certification from the University of North Texas. She is also working toward a Doctorate in Educational Leadership and Superintendent Certification at Tarleton State University.
     
    Leanne began her 10 year educational career in the Grapevine-Colleyville ISD in 2000 where she taught middle and high school English and Pre-AP English courses. In 2005, she assumed her first administrative role as an Assistant Principal at Carroll High School in Southlake, the position she held until coming to Coppell ISD.

    Ms. Dorhout is looking forward to the opportunity at CMS North and looks forward to building great relationships with teachers, parents and students. She believes, “Every student should receive a personalized educational experience that develops, challenges, and molds them, so each student achieves their inner excellence.”
