• CISD Board of Trustees Election Results

    Coppell ISD school board election ended on Saturday, May 8. Incumbent school board members Susie Kemp (Pl. 1) and David Apple (Pl. 2) were re-elected as trustees for the district and both were unopposed for three-year terms. Kemp, currently serving as secretary of the Board, received 696 votes and has been a member of the Board since 2004. Apple, with 683 votes, has served on the Board since 2005.

    The outcomes of the election for Place 3 are as follows: Anthony Hill retained his seat with 599 votes and his opponent Tom Ladusau received 289 votes. Hill will begin his next term on the Board this month.
