Homecoming 2010 is Here!
It is Homecoming week at Coppell High School with many activities to celebrate the "Free to Ride, Cowboy Pride" theme. The annual Homecoming Parade, open to the public, will be held on Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 6:30 p.m. Its course begins at North Coppell Road and will travel east on Parkway Boulevard ending at Coppell High School. Featured in the parade will be the Varsity Football team as well as the CHS Marching Band and Lariettes. CISD elementary and middle schools will participate as well as many community groups.
Spirit Day is set for Friday, September 10th, and begins with the "CHS Battle Cry of Victory" Pep Rally at 8:20 a.m. in the CHS Stadium. Game festivities will begin at with tailgate parties in the parking lot. Kick Off will be at 7:30 p.m. when the Coppell Cowboys take on the Jesuit Rangers at the CHS Stadium. The Homecoming Queen will be crowned during half-time.
The "Party in the USA" Homecoming Dance will be held on Saturday, September 11th from 7-11 p.m. in the Las Colinas Ballroom at the Omni Mandalay Hotel in Las Colinas. An annual highlight of the dance will be the crowning of this year's Homecoming King.
