The Coppell ISD Child Nutrition Department provides quality meals to students while also balancing nutrition requirements with student preferences and financial obligations. The school nutrition program is self-sufficient, not relying on the general school district budget, freeing monies for academic programs and teacher salaries.
2018-2019 Meal Prices
Student account balances are updated on a daily basis. Please contact your cafeteria manager with any questions or concerns about transaction history or balances.Parents can receive account balance notifications for balances less than $20 through the Coppell ISD Mobile App.
Student Meal Charging Policy
You will need to monitor your child’s meal account to ensure that they always have a positive balance. Students who do not have a positive balance will be allowed to charge up to $10 on the meal account. Students who carry a negative balance over the $10 limit, will be offered a courtesy meal which will be charged to the student’s account. The following procedures will be used to notify you of your child balance.
- Child Nutrition will email negative balance notice to the account on record through Parent Link once a week. You may select to receive phone calls, texts, or emails through Parent Link.
- Parents may sign up for low balance alerts through the MySchoolBucks.com website.
- Cafeteria Mangers will remind students daily at the serving lines when balances are getting low.
Parents may specify which foods students may or may not have by completing our "Meal Account Restriction Form" located in the top, right-hand corner of this page. Please complete this form and return to your school cafeteria manager for changes to be added to their lunch account. Restrictions follow students from year to year and school to school. If you wish to remove a restriction, please contact your school cafeteria manager.
*Note: This does not apply to food allergies. If your student has a life-threatening allergy, please contact your school nurse.
