• Innovation: Conference Key Word

Concentrating on "reaching and teaching 21st century students," the Texas Association of School Administrators (TASA) kicked-off its 2009 summer conference on education in the capitol city.

New Tech High @ Coppell Director Tabitha Branum and CISD Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Melody Paschall co-presented to over 200 session attendees. The focus: 21st century skills taught through the lens of project-based learning and computer work. With 43 New Tech High schools across the U.S., including 4 in Texas, "learners" are prepared to excel, not only in the core competencies, but also in an information-based and technologically advanced society.
