Letter to Parents from CHS Principal Mike Jasso
Dear Coppell High School Students and Parents,
I am writing to you today with bittersweet emotions as I have accepted a new position in Richardson ISD as the Executive Director for Secondary Instruction, Operations and Leadership. My thanks go out to each and every one of you for all your support and for entrusting me to lead your high school education for the past six years. It has been my good fortune and honor to have been given the opportunity to be a part of the Cowboy Nation. Though I am truly excited about what is to come, I will miss the CHS community, my time as your Principal and the people who have created our wonderful CHS family here.
My time with CHS will conclude at the end of the school year. Until this time, the campus will remain business as usual. District administration will begin searching for the new Principal of CHS soon, and will be seeking the help of parents and students in identifying the attributes the community would like to see in the new Principal. Information regarding this feedback will be sent once a plan has been established for my successor.
It has been my privilege to be the leader of such a vibrant, high quality and hardworking school community. Coppell High will always have a place in my heart: #IAmCHS!
