CISD Makes AP® District Honor Roll

CISD is one of 373 school districts in the U.S. and Canada being honored by the College Board with placement on the 9th Annual AP® District Honor Roll.

To be included on the 9th Annual AP District Honor Roll, CISD had to increase the number of students participating in Advanced Placement or AP courses, while also increasing or maintaining the percentage of students earning AP Exam scores of 3 or higher.

“Our continued recognition as an AP Honor District exemplifies our Core Value of Great Teaching,” said Deana Dynis, CISD Executive Director of Teaching and Learning.  “Not only do we meet the rigorous criteria set forth by the College Board for inclusion of more students, we also know that our AP educators design learning for success beyond the classroom and the AP tests. This high-quality instruction continues to yield the results that earn us this prestigious recognition year after year.”

This is the fifth consecutive year CISD has been named to the AP District Honor Roll. The complete 9th Annual AP District Honor Roll can be found at https://apcentral.collegeboard.org/pdf/ap-district-honor-roll-9th-annual.pdf.
