CISD Technology Help Desk Update

Dear CISD Community, 

Late yesterday afternoon (Aug. 19), the CISD Technology Help Desk support website  was flagged for phishing by Google Safe browsing.  Those using this link will see a message in red, which states, “Deceptive site ahead.”  We have reported the issue to Google and are working to get it resolved quickly. 

This issue mainly affects those using the Google Chrome browser, but you may experience the “Deceptive site ahead” message with other browsers as well. You can continue to our support site by clicking the “Details button” and then click the “visit this unsafe site” link to submit a Help Desk Ticket.  You also may call our Help Desk voice mail at 214-496-6972, if you prefer.

We also understand that many of our staff, students and families have submitted Help Desk tickets in the past week with the start of school. Our Technology Team is working diligently to respond to these tickets in the order in which they were received. We are prioritizing password and login issues for our students so that they can engage in distance learning.   With the current back-to-school increase in volume of tickets, response times may take three to five business days.  We appreciate your understanding, as we work to respond to Help Desk requests and address this issue with Google.  Thank you for your patience.
