CISD Students Earn 885 AP Scholar Awards

The College Board has announced that CISD has a total of 885 AP (Advanced Placement) Scholars for 2020 from Coppell High School, CHS9 and New Tech High @ Coppell. The AP Scholar Awards recognize high school students who have demonstrated exemplary college-level achievement on AP Exams.

The AP Program recognizes high school students who have demonstrated outstanding college-level achievement through AP courses and exams with the AP Scholar Awards. Each award-winning student receives a certificate, and the award is acknowledged on any AP score report that is sent to colleges after the award has been conferred.

‘We are proud to provide AP courses to our high school students who are ready to engage in college level academics,” said Dr. Deana Dynis, Executive Director of Teaching and Learning. “I applaud our learners and our teachers for their commitment to striving for academic excellence.”
