CISD Celebrates Veterans Day

Veterans Day commemorations went virtual this year at several CISD campuses. CMS West created a website and a Wall of Honor to recognize veterans and CMS North media students interviewed veterans who work at the campus. Several elementary schools hosted virtual events to recognize veterans. Here are some highlights from a few CISD campuses:

Welcome to our virtual Veterans Day celebration! In years past, CMS West has hosted memorable ceremonies to commemorate this holiday and honor our nation's veterans.  In lieu of a physical assembly this year, our Social Studies Department has created this site to pay homage to the men and women who have served in our nation's armed forces.  Please explore this page and those that follow to learn more about Veterans Day, to honor those in our #westfam who have served our nation, and to explore our school's history of celebrating this important holiday.
