HOSA Students Place at State, Qualify for Internationals

HOSASeveral high school students in the Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) placed in the top five at the recent state competition, with four students qualifying for the international competition. 

CHS juniors Ananya Agarwal and Emily Chang qualified for internationals by placing 3rd in the HOSA State Career Display category. CHS senior Hailey Johnson qualified for internationals by placing 2nd in the HOSA State Veterinary Science category. CHS senior Sabrina Williams qualified for internationals by placing 2nd in the HOSA State Healthy Lifestyles category. 

In addition, CHS juniors Hrishikesh Ambekar, Neel Chalemela, Arjun Jayakumar and Shrithan Oruganti placed 5th in the HOSA State Biomedical Debate category. 

HOSA teacher advisers are Martha Eitelman with CHS and Bill Borowski with CHS9.
