Coppell ISD looks forward to seeing you all at our Annual Community Tailgate on Friday, Oct. 21 in the indoor practice facility at the Coppell High School Field House.
Please see the map below for instructions on parking and access to the Tailgate. Community members are encouraged to park in the lot behind the Home entrance gate. From there, Tailgate guests can follow the sidewalk behind the Home side stands and past the old baseball field to the far end of the CHS Athletics field house, where you will find the indoor practice field. Volunteers and signs will be present to guide you. The doors open at 5 p.m.
Upon arrival, guests will give their names at the check-in tables just inside the door and receive meal tickets to redeem at the Dickey’s BBQ food truck. Families and community members can enjoy their meals, games and activities from local businesses and organizations, and performances by the Austin Elementary Marimba and the Coppell Cheer Association until 6:30 p.m.
After the Tailgate, those who have purchased game tickets can exit the indoor practice field through the field house and enter the stadium through the southeast entrance gate. Those who wish to do so can still purchase game tickets at www.coppellathletics.net/e-tickets until noon on Friday. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.
Please ensure you are familiar with and follow the bag policy and entry procedures. In an effort to expand public safety, backpacks are prohibited in the stadium and only small purses (4.5” X 6.5”), diaper bags and medical bags are allowed. All personal items are subject to search before the game.
Bags will be searched and the entrance to the Tailgate, where tickets to the game will also be scanned for those who have purchased them. Game tickets will not need to be scanned again at the stadium entry gate.
We can’t wait to see you all and enjoy a night of fun as a community during this annual CISD tradition.
