Dear CISD Community, 

Coppell ISD is monitoring the possibility of severe weather this afternoon during school dismissal. Should there be any changes to a school’s dismissal procedures, the district will issue a CISD Alert via text message, phone call and email, and post this information to the website. If you do not receive a CISD Alert, your school will dismiss as normal.  

As a reminder, should any school be in an active “shelter-in-place” situation due to the weather, schools cannot release students to parents or to the buses, as well as release students to walk/bike home or drive home, until it is safe to do so.  

The safety of our community is a top priority.  Please remember to drive safely and cautiously and monitor the weather this afternoon.
