Coppell ISD is pleased to announce the CISD Board of Trustees approved Stephanie Flores as the district’s new Director of Intervention Services during their meeting May 20.
Stephanie has served as the Coordinator of Special Education for Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD since 2015. Prior to that, she was an Educational Diagnostician and teacher in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, where she served as a resource teacher, special education team leader and as a fourth grade teacher. Stephanie received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and her Master of Arts in Teaching from Austin College. She also is certified as a principal, educational diagnostician and in special education. She will start her new position in CISD July 1.
Stephanie said, “I am grateful for this opportunity to join Coppell ISD and to serve its students. I know I join an exceptional team, who is committed to ensuring all students have access to the education resources they need to succeed.”
Stephanie and her husband, James, live in Carrollton and have three children, Avery age 12, Carly age 9 and Hudson age 6. James is a Firefighter for the City of Dallas, and together they coach their son's soccer team.
