CISD Schools Closed Through the End of the School Year
Dear CISD Families,
Coppell ISD is following the Executive Order issued by Texas Governor Greg Abbott during a press conference today (April 17, 2020) and is extending our school closure through the end of the school year. Coppell ISD will provide Distance Learning to our students through our official last day of school Thursday, May 21, 2020. The plans for the virtual high school graduation ceremonies will continue as planned. The district’s Summer School credit recovery plans will be shared at a later date.
We promise to continue to be there for our families by communicating with you consistently throughout our closure. Please continue to reach out directly to your child(ren)’s teachers or your school’s administration with your questions, issues and concerns.
In addition to online learning, the district will continue to distribute meals Mondays through Thursdays, with two meals delivered on Thursdays through May 21, 2020. All district and school events also are cancelled through the end of the school year or have been modified to include a virtual option. We encourage our families to stay at home and follow social distancing protocols as advised by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Thank you for your continued support of our district during this time. We are all in this #CISDAtHomeTogether.
