Athletics Fall Ticket Information
Dear CISD Families,
We are so proud of the hard work and exceptional efforts of all of our high school and middle school student athletes this year, despite our unusual circumstances. With our home games starting this week, we want to share information about our online ticketing process and venue capacity for home games with our community.
The Coppell ISD Athletic Department has shifted to online ticket sales exclusively for the 2020-2021 school year. There will be no cash/credit card ticket sales at CISD athletic venues for both middle school or high school events this year. You will need a ticket to enter all home games this year, including middle school sports. There also will no longer be free access to games for our non playing student athletes. Tickets will be required for all fans.
Our priority for in-person attendance for games for this school year is the parents/guardians of the game night participants, which includes the participating athletes, band members, drill team, cheerleaders and student media. With a maximum capacity of all of our athletic venues at 40% to ensure social distancing, events that may reach this capacity will use parent codes that will be shared by each game participant’s coach/sponsor prior to the game to ensure tickets go to these parents/guardians first, before the general public.
Tickets can be purchased at predetermined windows of time before the day of each athletic event, which will be consistent by sport, at www.coppellathletics.net/e-tickets. Tickets can also be purchased online only at the gate of each respective CISD venue by QR code until the 40% venue capacity is reached.
You will access your purchased ticket(s) on your personal device, which will be scanned at the gate for entry. Mask/face coverings are also required to enter any CISD athletic event. Once inside a CISD Athletic Facility, fans must follow the no seating signs on specified rows and seats, which are there to ensure social distancing.
Please visit www.coppellathletics.net/online-ticketing-for-fall-events for ticketing information for each high school and middle school sport.
CISD Athletics will also live stream every high school contest possible which can be accessed at www.coppellathletics.net/broadcasts. The varsity level of all sports will be live streamed this year and every non-varsity contest if possible, as well. Non-varsity live stream availability will depend on the number of concurrent contests and student media availability, in some cases. CISD Athletics should have the ability to broadcast most games.
We appreciate your support of our student athletes and look forward to cheering them on this school year.
