High School Athletes Signing Day

Seventeen CISD student-athletes participated in Signing Day on May 13, signing letters of intent to participate in their sports at the collegiate level. These young men and women have devoted countless hours to training and perfecting their craft to be among only seven percent of high school athletes in the country who advance to athletics at the college level. The CISD student-athletes who participated in Signing Day on May 13 are:

  • Matthew Abbey, who signed to play tennis at Midwestern State University;
  • Evan Caswell, who signed to continue in track at Texas Tech University
  • Andrew Chow, who signed to play golf at the University of Texas at Dallas; 
  • Ethan Connell, who signed to continue to play baseball at Dallas Christian College; 
  • Jackson Durbin, who signed to play football at Clark College; 
  • Reezon Eke, who signed to continue in track at the University of Memphis;
  • Zoe Goodale, who signed to play soccer at the Savannah College of Art and Design; 
  • David Jeon, who signed to continue to play baseball at  Purdue University;
  • Chayton Krauss, who signed to continue to play baseball at Grayson College; 
  • Sean Hiller, who signed to continue to play baseball at  Dallas Christian College; 
  • Tim Malone, who signed to continue to play baseball at Cisco Junior College;
  • Dafne Mercado, who signed to play softball at Tyler Junior College; 
  • Jessica Hayakawa-Negrete, who signed to play soccer at Austin College; 
  • Sam Rodman, who signed to continue to play baseball at  Oklahoma Christian University; 
  • Will Rodman, who signed to continue to play baseball at Oklahoma Christian University;
  • Kunal Seetha, who signed to play tennis at Case Western Reserve University; and
  • Ryan Walker, who signed to continue to play baseball at Tyler Junior College.
