High School Choirs Receive UIL Sweepstakes Recognition

CISD High School Choirs returned to in-person UIL Concert and Sight-Reading Evaluations for the first time since the Spring of 2019. All four performing ensembles received the highest possible rating, which is “ones” from all six judges, resulting in the distinction of Sweepstakes for each choir ensemble.

“We are so immensely proud of the success each choir accomplished,” Coppell Choir Director Bona Coogle said  “It has been months and weeks of rehearsals focused on this performance evaluation. Each Choir’s performance just blew us away. Our singers pushed through many challenges and were able to rise to heights we have not seen.”
