HOSA Students Place at State, Qualify for Internationals

HOSASeveral high school students in the Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) placed in the top five at the recent state competition, with four students qualifying for the international competition. 

Coppell High School juniors Ananya Agarwal and  Emily Chang qualified for internationals in the Career Display category. CHS senior Hailey Johnson qualified for internationals in the Veterinary Science category.CHS senior Sabrina Williams qualified for internationals in the Healthy Lifestyles category. 

In addition, CHS juniors Hrishikesh Ambekar, Neel Chalemela, Arjin Jayakumar and Shrithan Oruganti placed 5th at state in the Biomedical Debate category. 

HOSA teacher advisers are Martha Eitelman with CHS and Bill Borowski with CHS9.

A total of 25 Coppell High School and CHS9 students competed at the Texas HOSA competition
