North News - October 9, 2020

North Families,
We made it through the first nine week of school!  Thank you for partnering with us to meet the needs of Village North. Here are some important announcements as we start the second nine weeks of school!

October 12th - District Holiday
All Coppell ISD offices and campuses will be closed on Monday.

Preparing for the Second Nine Weeks - Reminders and Checklists
CISD has developed a checklist for students who will be in person learning for the first time Oct. 13 CISD also has a checklist for distance learning students at As a reminder, we ask parents and guardians of in person learners to screen their children daily using the checklist at

As a reminder, all in person students are required to wear masks throughout the day, including during recess and outdoor physical education classes. We encourage your child to bring an extra mask or two in case they want to switch it out during the day.  Your child also should bring their district issued device — their iPad or Macbook for New Tech High @ Coppell — fully charged with them each day.  They should also bring headphones with them.

Parents and guardians are not allowed to enter CISD campuses.  If your child forgets something at home, there will not be an opportunity to drop it off for them at school, so please ensure they have what they need with them for the day. If they forget their lunch, they will be able to get one from their school cafeteria. Should you need to pick up your child from school, please call your school directly and do not enter the school.
