The Public Education Visioning Institute was born from the work and ideas of thirty-five public school superintendents who came together as a community of learners to create a new vision for public education in Texas. It is the Institute's hope that it will inspire others toward the common goal of making public schools better for all Texas children.
The principles and premises embraced by the Institute are defined in the context of six separate articles:
Article I: The New Digital Learning Environment
Article II: The New Learning Standards
Article III: Assessments for Learning
Article IV: Accountability for Learning
Article V: Organizational Transformation
Article VI: A More Balanced and Reinvigorated State/Local Partnership
